Back in 2016 I had the honour of being the best man at a wedding in France. It was a wonderful occasion and it was an absolute pleasure to share a weekend with the bride and groom and their guests.
I had a few days before I had to return to work and took the opportunity to explore parts of Brittany and Normandy on the way home.
I saw a sign as I followed the coast and came upon this magnificent monastery.
Mont St. Michel sits on the French coastline and is a magnificent example of what can built when willingness and action work together.

Writing has taken a backseat of late due to a new job. The photo is Mont St. Michel appeared in my “on this day…” feed on my phone.
As I had a few moments before starting my shift, I thought I’d create a quick post and publish for the first time in a while.
Hopefully, once I get used to the new work schedule, I’ll be able to fit in time for publishing more articles.
